Prabowo's camp does not have a problem List of Questions Given a Week Before Debate
Rakyat Update. Juru Speaking Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno National Winning Body, Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak, said it was not a problem with the steps of the General Election Commission (KPU) to provide a list of questions to presidential and vice-presidential candidates a week before the 2019 Presidential Election debate on Monday (7 / 1/2019).
"In principle, we have no problem whether the list of questions is given first or not given," said Dahnil.
Dahnil assessed that it was not a problem for the list of questions to be given first to the candidates because 30 lists of questions were given by six panelists.
Meanwhile, during the debate, questions will be drawn to the candidates.
"Which questions are actually submitted will be chosen during the debate. So our position will be given 30 questions or not given, it doesn't matter," said Danil. Dahnil admitted, during a meeting with the KPU, his party did not mind at all with giving the list of questions.
The KPU applies two model questions to debate the candidates for president and vice president.
One of them, the open question model. For this model, the KPU will send a list of questions in advance to the two candidates for the debate.
The first debate will be held January 17, 2019. At present, the list of debate questions is still being compiled by the panelists. According to Arief, the faster the debate participants receive the list of questions, the better.
Because, the questions compiled are not just short questions, but also contain descriptions and explanations. Participants will have plenty of time to learn questions.
"So there will be no misinterpretation, so there is a narrative and then a question," Arief said.
